Its mid night in Bangalore.

Its mid night in Bangalore. I have just completed sending an important mail to my manager in California. Busy life of a Software Quality Assurance manager. All are sleeping. I could hear the clock ticks and the fading sounds of night vehicles pass by. Night is getting colder and colder. But I have lots of work to complete. This is performance review time. I need to write the reviews for my team. Its a big responsibility. Salary hikes and promotions. God help me to do my best.

My parents live in Pallipuram , a small village near Kochi in Kerala. My wife reminded me that yesterday was my brother's birthday and he will be visiting my parents today to have dinner with them. He is studying for priest hood with a Spanish monastry. He came back from Rome few days back to Kerala. I called my dad around 10.00 clock in the night so that I can convey my belated birthday wishes to my brother. But he has already left for the seminary by that time. Life is so busy now and we are forgetting birth days of dear ones. Theory of work life balance.

Positive Talk

Positive Talk
One evening , one daughter( around 7 years) was playing with her parents after their dinner in their bedroom. Mother was talking about beauty of infants and the changes time make to them. Mother told that even her daughter was really beautiful when she was very young. Daughter asked..."Am I ugly now my dear mom...?". Mother told..."You are little bit ugly now.". Dad corrected..." no my dear daughter ... Your beauty would have reduced little bit from your infant days. You are the most beautiful girl for me in the world."

dad communicated same message without using the world "ugly". Be positive.

You should write something...

Most of us don't know where to start and what to write. Can we call it starting trouble ? I have read in some of the management books about this...First step of a marathon. Its always tough. I also don't know where to start. 37 long years in this small planet. It was a really small planet when my dad brought the first Atlas home. But 37 years of wisdom has made lots of change. When I was a child, life was just Pallipuram , my village . World started growing along with me. Chathanad ,my mothers home town with lots of mango trees and the temple trees. Ernakulam , the city where I have done my studies . Kothamanagalam where I studied my engineering. Nandikara, near to Thrissur where I was teaching my beloved students on bio medical engineering and electronics ...Dharwad and Delhi where I worked with All India Radio, Bangalore , California..., the software and management days... the world is becoming biggger and bigger for me with my age.
